For those of you who love watching chiropractors crack necks, this is eye candy!
Watch life, our Dr. Sirota adjusts William. William is a long-time patient with chronic neck and sleep issues. What you’re seeing is a typical visit to a chiropractic office. Notice how the doctor always adjusts the Neck, then the thoracic spine, and finally the lumbar spine. At the end, you’ll notice he asks the patient to turn face down for a final check. What Dr. Sirota is looking for is whether there are any abnormal skin creases when comparing the right and left sides of the spine. If the skin creases are abnormal and asymmetrical, it indicates that the adjustment is not over.
We then return to the Neck and check for anything that may have popped up in the interim and needs to be adjusted AGAIN in the same visit. Until a patient “clears,” we are not done and are not allowed to leave. Think of it as a Rubik’s Cube. When solving the Rubik’s Cube puzzle, every action causes a reaction on the remaining sides of the Cube. Well, adjusting the spine is very similar. Just because I adjusted the Neck already doesn’t necessarily mean itis complete for today. There is obviously more available now, and I will adjust the Neck for the second or third time during a single office visit.
After I move onto another part of the patient’s spine, I have developed my own process. It has proven to be exceptional.
